Institute for Catholic Church Statistics is a scientific research institute that conducts social scientific studies about religion in Poland.

Our tradition

Founded in 1972 is the first research institute in Poland that conducts empirical research on religion. Our founders were first who established sociology of religion in Poland. We have published about 100 scientific books.

Our mission

We are non-profit and nonpartisan. We are interested in facts concerning religion in Poland. We value objective and rigor interpretation of Polish society.

Our research

We generate data on Catholicism in Poland, Catholic institutions, organizations and religiosity of Polish society. We offer a range of research on dioceses, parishes, religious communities and institutes, and other Catholic organizations. We are committed to meeting the highest methodological standards.
